This post is WAY overdue... so you'll find many things here. :)
Well...it's back to reality tomorrow. I really enjoyed my break though. My hubby and I went back to our home town to celebrate the holidays with our families.
Cali was excited to play with his cousin Nitanee. After playing all weekend they were both tuckered out!
Santa brought Cali his very own Steeler's jersey!
Thanks to my sister-in-law's inspiration, I decided to do a little crafting over the break. I've never sewn or quilted, but decided to give it a try!
My very first project was a tree skirt!
I also used my Cricut (LOVE it) to create all kinds of things. This is a picture of my January calendar pieces. I also used it to cut out vinyl shapes for my brother and sister-in-law's baby's nursery (due in June). Another fun project was making coasters. I purchased the small tiles from Lowe's and put felt pads on the bottom. Next, I cut out letters and words from vinyl and stuck them on the tiles....a quick, easy, yet cute project. (Sorry..no pics right now.)
A board book for our friends' little girl....
Finally, I decided to work on this LONG OVERDUE project...our wedding scrapbook. Maybe I'll have it finished by our third wedding anniversary! Just a few of the pages....
