Hello bloggie friends! Just wanted to share a few things with you. I'm finally getting into this back to school thing. I'm going to school again tomorrow. My goal is to finish up by Friday so I don't have to go back next week (We don't start until the 31st with students and the 29 in-service). My Facebook status tonight says....
Tonight a teacher somewhere in your neighborhood is getting ready for your child's new school year, writing lesson plans or writing your child's name in their grade book, while you are watching television. In the minute it takes you to read this, teachers all over the world are using their "free time," and often investing their own time & money for your child's literacy, prosperity, and future.
So true! Cheers to all my teacher friends out there! :)
Anyway.... on with the sharing.... I've had quite a few people inquire about the labels I used for the ROCKSTAR binder. I have attached them for you. :) (click on each pic to download).

I'm in the process of reorganizing my classroom (cleaning out shelves, closets, filing cabinets, etc.) While doing this I decided to relabel all of my "special bins" that hold my holiday and seasonal goodies. I don't know if anyone can use them, but I am including the file just incase there is someone out there! The file below is like 50 pages long. The latter pages are for my copy paper organization. After my copies come back from the copy lady (we send everything for the whole year) I organize everything by story and unit. This is so helpful so when I am preparing for a unit or week, I simply grab the stack of papers and go. I put all of the copies in the plastic filing bins.
